DMI Companies

Online learning course, designed and developed by me.

The DMI Companies, headquartered in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, are a group of building supply distributors and service providers. As the in-house graphic designer for this mid-sized company, I created both traditional and new media, including (but not limited to) product catalogs, print advertisements, websites, marketing email campaigns, omnichannel marketing campaigns, online learning courses, and even a real, physical power tool!

The “AUTOTECH” was a revolver-style impact driver developed in conjunction with Makita. I created the logo, instruction manual, and go-to-market campaign. I also worked in conjunction with Makita’s Chinese vendors to fine-tune the tool’s dies and colors, and provided press-ready art files for the applied labels and packaging.

Two of my print ads received “highest readership response” accolades, awarded by the magazine publisher.

I had the opportunity to art-direct the product photoshoots for these ads, in addition to creating a photoillustration alongside the Danish custom car design team that supplied the original concept rendering.

During my tenure with DMI, the group added a new firm to the family: RCx Building Diagnostics. I was delighted to create a new corporate brand identity from scratch.

Concept, research, copywriting, and design by me.
